Agatha Adams

About me: I have worked with student-athletes since 1989 and have been at Oklahoma State since 1985. I taught high school in Okmulgee, Okla., for five years before coming to OSU. I have four daughters and six grandchildren. I am married to Oscar J. Adams, Sr.

Hometown: Okmulgee, Okla.

High School: I was a member of the last graduating class from Dunbar High School.

College: BS in Secondary Education-Social Science (Langston). MS in Curriculum Administration and Instruction (Oklahoma State). Doctoral work at Oklahoma State.

Hobbies: Spending time with my family, especially my grandkids; cooking, reading, playing games.

Favorite music: Jazz, R&B, Gospel

Favorite book: I have so many. I enjoy good romance novels.

Favorite quote: "I can do all thing through Christ who strengthens me." - Philippians 4:13

Something not everyone knows about you: I guess it would be that I like to laugh and have a good time.

Best Advice for college students: Set your goals and the ride will be easier. You might have to adjust, but you will know what direction you are going. The ride might be tough, but anything worth having doesn’t come easy.
