Nikki Jones

About me: I have been employed at OSU since 2000, starting in the College of Education student services office, then joining Academic Services for Student-Athletes (ASSA) in 2001. As Manager of Student Academic Development for Football, I work with student-athletes on a daily basis to motivate, encourage, and challenge them to succeed in the classroom. Additionally, I am responsible for coordinating academic programs for football, overseeing daily operations of academic sessions, and managing the academic facilitator program.

Hometown: Norman, Okla.

High School: Norman High School

College: BS in Education (Oklahoma State, ’04); MS in Teaching, Learning, and Leadership - Special Education option (Oklahoma State, ’08). Doctorate in Educational Technology Leadership (Morehead State, ’16).

Hobbies: Reading, spending time with family and friends, and attending OSU sporting events. I also hope to start taking guitar lessons soon!

Favorite music: Too many to list!

Favorite movie: I have several … The Holiday and The Breakfast Club are two of my favorites.

Something not everyone knows about you: My dream is to perform on Broadway.

Best advice for college students: Don’t miss class and get to know your professors!
