Nikki Jones

Originally from Norman, OK, Nikki Jones earned a Bachelor's degree in Education in December 2004 and a Master’s degree in Teaching, Learning, and Leadership (Special Education option) in May 2008, both from OSU. In 2016, she graduated with her doctorate in Educational Technology Leadership from Morehead State University.  She has been employed at OSU since 2000, joining Academic Services for Student-Athletes in 2001. Previously, Nikki worked in the College of Education before transferring to Academic Services.

As Manager of Student Academic Development for Football, Nikki works with student-athletes on a daily basis to motivate, encourage, and challenge them to succeed in the classroom. She is responsible for coordinating academic programs for football and overseeing daily operations of academic sessions.  Additionally, she is in charge of the facilitator program, which includes hiring, training, and overseeing ASSA facilitators.  Facilitators meet with student-athletes each week to assist in the organization of their academic, athletic, and personal commitments and to provide guidance and support toward their short- and long-term goals.

Her hobbies include reading, spending time with family and friends, and attending OSU sporting events.
