Marilyn Middlebrook

Dr. Marilyn Middlebrook works to ensure a cooperative effort between Academic Affairs and OSU Athletics is established. She is responsible for administration of the academic support program for student-athletes. The primary function of this unit is to assist student-athletes in meeting educational and personal goals while ensuring compliance with NCAA, Big XII, and institutional academic rules and regulations.

Marilyn joined the athletics department in 1997 and currently holds the title of Associate Athletics Director for Academic Affairs and Director of Academic Services for Student-Athletes. She served as Director of Academic Services in the OSU College of Education before joining ASSA staff.

Marilyn received her doctorate in higher education from OSU in 1990 and a Master's of Science in guidance and counseling from Emporia State University in Emporia, Kansas. Marilyn and her husband, Dan, have three grown children: Bruce, Amy Jo, and Brad. She is also the proud grandmother of nine grandchildren: Halley, Riley, Luke, Natalie, Maggie, Jolie, Molly, Brady, and Jett.
