Jonene Cook

Jonene Cook began at ASSA as a tutor and facilitator in 2000 and worked as a Graduate Assistant for ASSA until the completion of her Graduate Certificate in Online Teaching in May 2013. She recently added the certificate to a Master of Science in Educational Technology with an emphasis in Library Media and a Bachelor of Science in English Education, each from OSU. Jonene has taught composition courses for Northern Oklahoma College-OSU Gateway Program in Stillwater since 2007, both in the classroom and online. She has also taught courses in Educational Technology and Social Foundations for OSU.

As a Learning Specialist, Jonene oversees online classes, developing plans and schedules with student-athletes to support their academic achievement. She is the academic facilitator for the OSU baseball team. Through her work she encourages all student-athletes to perform well in the classroom and support them in their sports.

Jonene and her husband, Jeremy, met at Oklahoma State University. They have three children: Jarrett, Jadrian, and Jereson. All have been active in the Stillwater Soccer Club.
