Alan Good

Alan Good has worked with student-athletes since 1990 (at Springfield College and Ball State University) and has been working at OSU since 1995. Alan received his Master's Degree in Athletic Counseling in 1991 from Springfield College (Massachusetts). He also earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology in 1989 from Bridgewater State College (MA). As part of his duties as Assistant Director and Eligibility Manager for ASSA, Alan is the academic counselor for men's baseball, men's tennis, men's and women's track, and men's and women's cross country. He tracks APR/GSR and the progress and graduation status of all OSU student-athletes to ensure they are proceeding satisfactorily under NCAA and BigĀ 12 guidelines. Alan also assists in academic recruitment and serves as the Academic Student-Athlete Honors Coordinator. Alan and his wife, Vallory, have one son, Alex. In his spare time, Alan has been racing competitively for USA Cycling for 18 years, winning the Oklahoma State criterium title in 2010 and his first Pro 1-2 race in 2011.
