Agatha Dean Adams

Agatha Dean Adams has worked with student-athletes since 1989 and has been at OSU since 1985. Mrs. Adams taught high school in Okmulgee, Oklahoma for five years before coming to OSU. She earned her Master's Degree in Curriculum Administration and Instruction from Oklahoma State University and her Bachelor's Degree in Social Science Education from Langston University. She has four daughters and 10 grandchildren. Agatha is married to Oscar J. Adams Sr. She enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, gardening, and reading.

As Assistant Director of ASSA, Agatha serves as the sports counselor for women's basketball, equestrian, women's soccer, and women's tennis. She also coordinates the admissions and enrollment process of all new student-athletes (international and domestic), the priority enrollment program, and the textbook program, and she assists with academic recruitment and administers, with the assistance of the director, the budget for ASSA.
